Summary: Abstract: Records are provided of 19 spider species captured by the mud-dauber wasp Sceliphron curvatum (Smith 1870), which is recorded for the first time from the Basque Country. It is an introduced species of the family Sphecidae. The nests of S. curvatum were found in two houses of Bilbao and Vitoria-Gasteiz. 15 species of spiders were recorded for the first time from the Basque Country, with the seccond Iberian record of Philodromus vagulus Simon, 1875 and the third Iberian record of Theridion familiare O. P.-Cambridge, 1871.
